Perseverance Lesson

A mysterious package appeared for a couple days in our room.  Finally the kids convinced me to open it.  (The lesson was about perseverance)

As I unwrapped one sheet of paper, another appeared.  I pretended to want to give up because it was "taking too long" or it was "too hard" or " I'm not good at unwrapping".  (This is what I said and the kids kept encouraging me to keep going...to persevere!). 

In the end, we found lollies in the box so the moral is:  perseverance can lead to learning great things and getting great things!
