OH YES HE DID! CHAMP CAME TO SCHOOL!

We were the luckiest kids in school today because we got to have Champ come into our classroom before the assembly! Sorry so blurry.  Can you tell that the kids were beside themselves with excitement?  So cute!  Then we were privileged enough to lead Champ down to the gym!

"Lake Monster Lindsay", as we call her, filled the kids in on the Hinesburg Community School night at the ballpark and the ticket sales.  But who was she hiding???

That tail?  At this point, the kids went crazy!  The energy in the gym was fantastic!

There he is!

Love for Champ!

MO WILLEMS' BOOK KNUFFLE BUNNY!

Creating our very own Knuffle Bunny!  (Yes, your kids are right...it's pronounced, Kuh-Nuffle)

AUTHOR STUDY: MO WILLEMS!

The first activity for our Mo Willems author study was to look at his books and answer these three research questions.
The students were very excited to do some research like Mr. Lasher's 6th graders!

VOTING FOR OUR FAVORITE RED CLOVER AWARD BOOK!

Last week we voted for our favorite Red Clover book.

School children in Vermont choose one favorite book out of a selection of ten, and that becomes the Red Clover winner!   The most popular book in our class was The Princess and the Pig.    The winner of our school has not been announced.

THE LEPRECHAUNS CAME FOR A VISIT...BUT WE STILL DIDN'T CATCH THEM!

Yes, this is a picture of a toilet on my blog!  The leprechauns had a pit-stop in our bathroom!

Golden glitter trail!

Looking in his trap for a Leprechaun, but no such luck!

They even went in our reading igloo!
They ate the cupcake we left for them...but left the fork and knife.
