RANDOM ACTS OF KINDERGARTEN!

Here are some pictures of things that have gone on in the last couple of weeks. We made teepees and totems during our Native American Indian studies. We received our new "smartboard" and tried out the writing features. And of course, built really cool things with blocks.

WE ARE SCIENTISTS!

We are starting our science unit on MOTION. We will be using balls and ramps to help us understand motion (movement). Ask your child what they are studying this week. If they say "balls and ramps" ask them to tell you the fancy, scientist name (motion). In order to celebrate this week of science, we made "brain" hats to wear when we are scientists. We even have lab coats to wear (we only have 3 so we have to take turns). We only had a couple "brain surgeries" today thank goodness!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We had a wonderful Halloween party and Costume Parade. The students loved showing off their costumes and checking out others. Thanks for all of the treats for our party! Here are the kids in their costumes. Enjoy!
