Native Americans Then and Now!

I placed some photos of Native Americans in front of my students and asked them to tell me which were Native Americans and which were not. They sorted them and said why they thought they weren’t Native Americans.  When I told them all of the photos were Native Americans, they could not believe it!  I feel it is important to show students the Native Americans of today as well as the past.
