Snowball Melt Experiment!

Last week we collected four cups of  snow and placed them in four different locations.  (Outside, inside our classroom, in my fridge, and in the freezer). We predicted what would happen to each cup of snow and set a timer for 1 and a 1/2 hours.  Ask your child what happened and why they think it happened?

Snowball Fight Morning Greeting!

Each student had their name on a crumpled up piece of paper.  I played music while we had a "snowball" fight! When the music stopped they picked up a snowball and returned to circle with it.  They opened their snowball and greeted the person who's name was on their snowball.  They loved this!  We will also do this for sight word reading and other academic pieces.
