MATH STATIONS IN OUR CLASSROOM and A VISIT FROM A FORMER STUDENT!

Here, students try to use various pattern blocks shapes to form another shape.  This encourages problem solving skills, spacial orientation, and of course learning shapes!

Before our Holiday break, Delaney Thomas, a former student of mine, stopped by to teach a lesson on the Five Senses.  The students matched cards using their sense of sight.  They also tasted various foods in a taste test, and played a "feeling match game" where they used their sense of touch.  It was fun to have Delaney join us!
