| This year at H.C.S., the K teachers and the 8th grade teachers decided to have a Welcoming Ceremony for the Kindergartners. The 8th graders presented each Kindergartner with a carnation and a poem. (You probably wondered why your child had a carnation) At the end of the year, the Kindergartners will present the graduating 8th graders with a carnation and poem. The K kids were a bit like "deer in headlights" during the ceremony, but sat with their 8th grade buddies and chatted after. It was quite cute! |
