CHICKA, CHICKA, BOOM, BOOM! WE MADE A COCONUT TREE IN OUR ROOM!

Last week we worked on our letters by reading the book Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom, and participated in a variety of activities based on the book.   Here is our coconut tree!  It "fancies" up the pole in the middle of our room.  The other photos are of the hard working students making their own Chicka, Chicka, trees! 

Here they are making their own Chicka, Chicka headbands!  They were so cute in them! 

We met in Mrs. Johnson's classroom to read Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom all together.  Then we watched a musical version of Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom.  After that we made our own snack shaped like a coconut tree.  The crew loved it!
