| The Pete the Cat series is our new favorite book collection to read! We have three out of the four... however the fourth is on order from Brown Dog! Pete is a lovable blue cat that is groovy and positive. The book can be read, or you can go to the Pete the Cat website and sing along with the catchy tune! The kids love these songs and they get stuck in their heads (and mine) all day long! |

| Playing pin the shoe on Pete...or as it happened...Pin the shoe on Mrs. Lasher! |
 |
| I don't remember who started it, but instead of trying to pin the shoe on Pete, someone started to pin it on me! Mrs. Johnson's class was also involved in the action! I even had one on my earring! You should have heard the roars of laughter! It's moments like these that make my job so wonderful! |
