"HOW TO" WRITERS PRACTICE FOLLOWING "HOW TO" WRITING! (Say that three times fast!)

Mo Willems is one of my favorite authors and illustrators and he is the creator of the Pigeon series.  (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog, etc)  On his wonderful website he has a "How To Draw Pigeon" page.  Since we have been writing "How to" pieces, we used Mo's "How to" writing as a learning example; then we tested it out.  The students did an awesome job!
