Boy do these children love to build. I don't think I have had a group of kids who built as much as this crew does! I am pretty amazed at the structures they are coming up with! See also the Leaning Tower of Pisa; then see the next picture of Claudia's tower. As soon as Claudia showed me her tower, I had to show her (and then everyone else) the Tower of Pisa. We talked about what currently is happening to the tower every year (it sinks 1 mm per year) and what
might happen in the future to the tower. It was also a nice connection to the books we have been reading about
Strega Nona (Grandma Witch) because she lives in Italy!
