Our big buddies (Mrs. Whitman's 3rd graders) join us every first Monday of the month. During this time they read to us and then we do a special craft activity. Not only does this give the 3rd graders practice in reading, but it also gives us one on one reading time with our buddies. This coming Tuesday, we will be carving pumpkins with them...stay tuned for the pictures of that messy and fun event!
