Here we are working in our new math stations! Part of the Bridges program includes math stations where students use manipulatives (pattern blocks, unifix cubes "stinker linkers", geoboards, and polydrons). Throughout the year these stations will change to include partner math games. I have never seen students so excited for math than I do when they go to the stations! How many linkers tall is this guy?
Exploring and building patterns with the "stinker linkers".
(I call them that because they have a stinky plastic smell)
Pattern blocks
Oops! This is playdoh play...not quite a math center, but really fun too!
Making shapes with Geoboards. How many squares are there on her board?
