Last week we started solving Frog Story Problems in math.
Here we are using the Smartboard to display these problems. Students came up to the Smartboard and explained how they found the answer to the question posed on the sheet. It is very helpful for students to be "teachers" for their peers and offer various ways in which to solve a problem. I enjoyed sitting back and watching the students interact with each other; helping one another understand how to solve the question.
An example of one of these problems:
"There are 6 eyes peeking from behind a log. How many frogs are hiding behind the log?" (the students cannot see the frogs, only the eyes)
Stay tuned for a post with their very own Pig Story Problems! Can you solve them?
